  • Can I convert my LAND District demo bike from a chain drive to a belt drive?
    • Yes, but it depends on the model year.
      • 2024 and later models have a redesigned swingarm that allows for easy belt installation.
      • 2023 and older models require a swingarm replacement to accommodate a belt drive. LAND Moto has performed this conversion for customers, with a ballpark cost of around $1,200.
  •
  • If you're interested in converting your bike, contact LAND Moto for more details and installation options.
  •
  • How to configure The DISTRICT for shorter or taller riders.
    • SHORTER: If you’re 5’ 4” or shorter, we recommend getting the lowest seat height at 30”. This option is only available for The DISTRICT (street only version) which includes the Pirelli Street tires and then selecting the lower rear shock option. You can also change out the handlebar to a lower rise or flat bar with more sweep (more bend toward the rider).
    • TALLER: If you’re 6’ 2” or taller, it’s recommended to get the highest seat height at 33”. This option is only available for The DISTRICT Scrambler (on/off-road version) which includes the Shinko Golden Boys tires and then selecting the taller rear shock option. You also can change out the handlebar to a higher-rise bar with less sweep (reduced bend toward the rider).
  •
  • Why are there two different kickstand lengths for the LAND District motorcycle?
    • The kickstand length varies based on the suspension setup of your District model:
      • Short kickstand – Designed for the low suspension model.
      • Long kickstand – Used for the standard Street and Scrambler models.
  •
  • If you're ordering a replacement kickstand spring, ensure you select the correct length based on your motorcycle’s suspension.
  •
  • Is the District for 2 riders?
    • The LAND District is not designed for two riders, and we do not recommend carrying a passenger.
  •
  • For solo riders, you should check local licensing requirements. While the District can be ridden in Mode 1 as a bicycle, higher power modes may require a motorcycle license depending on your location.
  •
  • What size handlebars can I install on my LAND District motorcycle, and do you recommend a café racer style?
    • If you're looking for a café racer-style handlebar, you have a couple of options:
    • The handlebar clamp area is 1 inch, so you can search for “clubman bars” that match this size.
    • If you prefer a more aggressive look and feel, you can also use clip-on handlebars, which bolt directly to the forks.
  •
  • Be sure to check compatibility with your riding position and controls before purchasing.
  •
  • Can I install aftermarket LED lights on my LAND District motorcycle?
    • LAND Moto, like other OEM motorcycle brands such as Honda, does not support the installation of aftermarket lights. This is primarily due to liability concerns and the fact that we cannot verify the design, quality, or safety standards of non-OEM parts.
  •
  • However, we recognize the interest in customization and plan to partner with select aftermarket vendors in the future. Additionally, we are developing an online community where LAND Moto customers can connect, share experiences, and support each other with modifications. We appreciate your patience and understanding!
  •
  • Does LAND Moto sell wheel covers for the District motorcycle?
  •
  • Why is my LAND District motorcycle hesitating or stuttering while cruising at a steady speed?
    • If you’re experiencing hesitation or stuttering while cruising, it could be due to a loose or improperly tensioned chain. A slack chain can lead to inconsistent power delivery.
  •
  • We recommend checking the chain tension and inspecting the throttle for any signs of damage. If the issue persists or worsens, please contact LAND Moto support for further troubleshooting and assistance.
  •
  • How do I remove the front turn signal on my LAND District motorcycle?
    • The front turn signals are secured with a 12mm bolt on the back. To remove the turn signal:
      • Loosen the 12mm bolt to detach the signal.
      • Locate the connection inside the belly pan and unclip it.
      • Once disconnected, the turn signal can be fully removed and replaced as needed.
  •
  • Installation is straightforward, simply reverse the steps above. If you need further assistance, feel free to contact LAND Moto support.
  •
  • What accessories are available?
    • LAND offers a variety of rear racks and guards that you can add at purchase. You are also able to buy them separately at a later date. We will be releasing more accessories soon!
  •
  • How do I adjust my suspension?
    • View the suspension overview here.
  •
  • What’s the Super District’s top speed? Is it configured for 70+ or 55?
    • It’s right around 70mph.
  •
  • Does the Super District have a different wheel size or ride height compared to the Street and Scrambler models?
    • The Super District uses the standard 17-inch wheels as the Street and Scrambler models but features significantly wider and grippier Michelin tires.
    • The ride height of the Super District is about half an inch taller than the standard Street model, though the difference is not noticeable during riding.
    • The Scrambler model has a higher ride height due to its larger tires, making it approximately 1.5 inches taller than the Super District.
  •
  • What sprocket size is used on the black demo bike?
    • The 15-tooth sprocket provides significantly more torque, making it more challenging to handle, especially in a demo setting. All demo units use the higher-speed gearing for a more balanced riding experience.
  •
  • I need to replace the tube in my Scrambler’s front tire, where can I buy one?
    • The LAND District Scrambler is equipped with tubeless tires, meaning there is no inner tube to replace. If you are experiencing a small puncture, most local motorcycle shops can patch the tire unless the damage is near the sidewall, which would make it unsafe to repair.
      • A tire patch typically costs $10–$15, though some shops may charge up to $50.
      • It’s best to call ahead to confirm if a shop can perform the repair same day.
      • If the damage is severe or you prefer added peace of mind, you can replace the tire entirely.
  •
  • We recommend finding a trusted local motorcycle shop with good reviews, as having a reliable service provider can be helpful for future maintenance needs. Plus, visiting a shop can be a great way to meet other riders and connect with the local motorcycle community.
  •
  • What is the max capacity weight of the rider?
    • The maximum weight including the rider, gear, and luggage is 500 lbs.
  •
  • How does the anti-theft mode work on the LAND District motorcycle?
    • The anti-theft mode provides multiple layers of security:
      • Remote notifications: If any movement is detected, you will receive a text alert, no matter how far away you are from the bike.
      • Engine lock: Even if someone tries to hotwire or bypass the key, the bike will not start.
      • Rolling movement: The wheels are not physically locked, so the bike can still be rolled. However, any movement will trigger a notification.
      • Live tracking: The app tracks the vehicle’s location, allowing you to monitor it at all times.
  •
  • This feature provides extra security and peace of mind with real-time alerts and tracking capabilities.

  • How does the District Charge?
    • The District Scrambler bike charges using an 8-15 Amp battery charging system compatible with standard household outlets.
  •
  • Can you charge it at a Tesla supercharger?
    • You can charge at charging stations with an adapter, but not at Tesla stations as they have proprietary connection software.
  •
  • What are the voltages & amperages of The DISTRICT system?
    • The System runs 72v nominally and 160 amp nominal.
  •
  • What's the expected life cycle of the battery?
    • 500 Cycles or 2 years until it was 5-10% degraded.
  •
  • How many charge cycles can I expect before needing to replace the battery on my LAND District motorcycle?
    • The battery cells in the LAND District motorcycle are officially rated for approximately 3,000 full charge cycles (0-100%). However, partial charge cycles (e.g., charging from 10-80%) count as less than a full cycle, extending overall battery longevity.
  •
  • On average, our battery packs maintain up to 80% capacity for about 10 years under normal use. That said, due to ongoing advancements in battery technology, many customers may choose to upgrade their battery every 5 years as capacity and range improvements become available.
  •
  • How can I confirm the battery kWh on a LAND District Scrambler?
    • The easiest way to determine the battery capacity (kWh) is by checking the weight or the battery sticker:
      • 6.4 kWh battery → Weighs 74 lbs
      • 5.5 kWh battery → Weighs 70–72 lbs
      • 20s16p label → Indicates the smaller battery pack
  •
  • If you don’t see the kWh listed directly on the battery, these methods will help you identify its capacity.
  •
  • How much does it weigh?
    • A single battery is around 200lbs with the big battery at around 240lbs.

ORDERING / PURCHASING
  •
  • Does LAND process international orders for The DISTRICT?
    • Not yet. At present and for the foreseeable future, LAND is only processing orders within the continental USA. We encourage our international friends to follow LAND socials to learn when international shipping becomes available.
    • See what we're up to on Facebook, Instagram, or Tiktok.
  •
  • What makes The DISTRICT DOT approved for street legal riding on public roads?
    • The LAND District meets street-legal requirements because it uses DOT-certified parts or components designed to DOT standards. This ensures the motorcycle complies with safety regulations necessary for public road use.
  •
  • Always check your local and state laws for specific licensing and registration requirements.
  •
  • Is this road legal in Europe?
    • To legally ride a U.S. manufactured motorcycle in Europe, you typically need a Certificate of Conformity (COC), which verifies that the bike meets European regulations.
  •
  • However, each European country has its own import and registration requirements, so we recommend checking with the local transportation authority in the country where you plan to ride. Compliance may involve modifications or additional approvals depending on the region.
  •
  • Do promotions or further discounts apply to factory demo bikes as well?
    • Our demo bikes are already on super sale and exclude any further discounts.
  •
  • Is there a veteran discount?

      • General Maintenance & Repairs: For routine maintenance, such as tire changes and minor repairs, you can take your motorcycle to a local motorcycle shop. Most shops can diagnose and repair these issues while you wait.
      • Authorized Service Partner: You can visit our authorized partner, Mars Cars in Huntington Beach (https://www.marscarsllc.com/) for servicing.
  •
  • Additionally, joining local riding groups can help you find trusted repair shops and connect with other riders for advice and recommendations. Motorcycling is all about the experience—enjoy the ride and the community that comes with it!
  •
  • Where can I find the engine number on my LAND District motorcycle for California DMV requirements?
    • The engine number is located on the side of the engine case, positioned between the engine and the battery box. Unfortunately, it is not visible without removing the motor.
  •
  •
  • What should I do if my LAND District motorcycle display is warped or discolored?
    • If your display is warping or discoloring and your motorcycle is less than a year old, it may be covered under warranty if the issue is due to a defect in materials or workmanship.
  •
  • To initiate a warranty claim, please:
    • Provide proof of purchase (receipt or order confirmation).
    • Send photos and details of the issue to hello@land.email.
