Is the LAND District an electric motorcycle or e-bike?
The District is a street-legal electric motorcycle with a VIN. Registration, insurance and appropriate motorcycle licensing may be required depending on your jurisdiction.
What is the difference between Street and Scrambler?
Both share the same District platform. The main differences are street versus knobby tires and the fender configuration.
Can I charge the District at home?
Yes. The included external charger works with a standard 120 V household outlet. The CORE battery can also be removed and charged away from the motorcycle.
Is the CORE battery removable?
Yes. The battery is removable and has 5.5 kWh maximum capacity and 4.8 kWh nominal capacity.
Does the District have regenerative braking and reverse?
Yes. Regenerative braking and reverse are available on the 2027 District.
