Available positions
We are looking for a Service Technician to join us with a focus on taking care of our products, incoming service questions from customers and maintenance of the internal test and field bikes. You will further be supporting the showroom staff with taking care of customers and supporting our field specialists at field events when needed. You will have daily contact with our customers to better understand their concerns and identify their issues, ordering spare parts and covering logistics.
In this role you will have the responsibility for all service on the US market, based out of LA, reporting into our Service and Quality Manager - West. Your work will include and is not limited to:

You will have daily contact with our customers to better understand their concerns and identify their issues, ordering spare parts and covering logistics.
In this role you will have the responsibility for all service on the US market, based out of LA, reporting into our Service and Quality Manager - West. Your work will include and is not limited to:
- Diagnose and understand a variety of repairs via email/phone/video with customers, partners, and employees
- Respond to incoming service cases from customers - Providing thorough and prompt support throughout the repair process
- Perform general maintenance, both preventative and repair, Cake bikes. Keep internal bikes washed and detailed
- Assist new employees and partners on learning the functions and general repair procedures for Cake bikes
- Assist with assembly re-works on inventory bikes - required for "running" production changes
- Make cost estimates for repair and maintenance procedures to provide to customers.

- We believe you have a mechanical background, preferably from working with two wheeled vehicle
- You are experienced within Customer service
- have a positive 'can-do' attitude and a flexible approach
- have creative problem-solving skills and a solutions-focused mindset
- are engage in projects with a sense of urgency
- are a strong communicator and relationship builder
- are a self-starter: you thrive on taking ownership of initiatives with limited oversight
- have excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
